Top 10 Most Popular Posts From Not The Former Things

In the almost six years since I started blogging here at Not The Former Things, a lot has happened.

Not just in my home life (because seven serious diagnoses across two kids is easily described as a lot…) but here, on the blog.

A few crazy viral posts, three books, and opportunities to write for other blogs that I have loved for years – I would’ve been so excited to hear this was a part my future back then.

But what I know now is that the greatest success in this writing this blog isn’t any of those things.

They’re great, but the absolute best part of blogging is you.

The chance to connect with other mom’s just like me. Not feeling so alone. Developing a true community of hard-working, kind, wonderful people who I can’t imagine doing this life without.

I am humbled and so very grateful for this opportunity.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

It’s also encouraging and fun for me to see what you’ve enjoyed most here at Not The Former Things. I thought I would share them with you as well. Here are the Top 10 Most-Read Posts of all time, in reverse order.

I tried to post just now on your private FB board, Shawna. It was a rant .. about what I was praying to receive not just the release of the rant but maybe a reply and a energy hug from anyone else on the board. FB shut down my account and won’t let me back in! I am so crushed and confused at almost 3am with nothing/nobody to communicate with .. so LETTING GO AND LETTING GOD. Love you so much .. you are an angel. (there was nothing in my post whatsoever that would have prompted this I assure you).

    1. I am so sorry! I have heard about FB doing that a lot more lately. I will check and see if I have any communication from them and vouch for you. It is not something that I typically have any control over, but I will help if I can.
