The Easiest Way To Get Back On Track
We were doing so well.
After weeks of meltdowns and summer heat…
After a loss of any real routine or structure…
After barely making it through the transition to back to school….
We were doing so well.
It was amazing. Then both of my boys came down with back to back viruses that strongly resembled the flu.
And just like that, we were a mess again.

It’s crazy how little it takes to knock us off track.
It’s crazy how much it takes to recover.
The past week has been one of just trying to get back to where we were.
Not about progress – just recovery.
As I tried to come up with new ideas for learning that might entice my, once again, resistant and struggling learners, to resume our studies, I looked to some of the resources from the Intentional Homeschooling Bundle.
This bundle sale is perfectly timed, because many of us are hitting the first “slide” of the school year. The newness has worn off. All the best plans have started to unravel.
It’s just part of the ebbs and flows of learning.
For us, we need a bit of a jump-start so I decided to complete the constellation activity from the bundle, and also introduce my oldest to the photography lessons.
There is just something so satisfying about having another mom do all the work for me.
The resource that really helped me get it together?
The planning pages in Alicia’s homeschool planner. One exercise stuck with me all week –
So simple. So effective.
We need more of this.
We need less of this.
Her intentional planning pages alone made the bundle worth it for me.
It’s an honor to be a part of the Intentional Homeschooling Bundle and to share it with you.
Take a peek for yourself and let me know if you have any questions! The sale only runs through September 26, 2017. After that, all the resources included will be back to regular price, so don’t miss it!
Oh boy, can I relate to this! It is crazy how something like a virus or the common cold can make the bottom fall out of everything. Hoping and praying that this next week is much better for you guys! Sunshine
